The Akanksha campaign
This project was a five-week wellbeing program in collaboration with Nosfam Mumbai designed to help students understand their emotions, build healthier coping skills, and learn how to navigate real-life challenges. Through sessions on emotional awareness, stress management, music-based healing, and recognizing the signs of self-harm and substance misuse, students got practical tools they can actually use.

Week 1: Understanding emotions
We introduced students to the full range of emotions, why we experience them, and how they influence our daily lives. The goal was to help them recognize and understand their feelings with more confidence.

Week 2: Understanding yourself
We introduced students to the full range of emotions, why we experience them, and how they influence our daily lives. The goal was to help them recognize and understand their feelings with more confidence.

Week 3: Music therapy
We explored how music can support emotional wellbeing, explained what music therapy is, and showed students simple ways they can use music to help regulate their mood.

Week 4: Self-Harm and substance abuse
We closed with an honest conversation about self-harm and substance misuse — what they are, why they happen, and how to recognize risks and prevent harm.

Week 5: Zines and team presentations
To bring everything together, students worked in small groups to create zines and short presentations reflecting on the topics from previous weeks, turning what they learned into something creative and meaningful.
